COMPANY PROFILE

HISTORY

Wildcat Helicopters Inc. was incorporated in November of 1998. Wildcat commenced its operations by taking on the task of a major overhaul of a used Bell 212 helicopter.  The overhauled Bell 212 was operational by mid May 1999 and Wildcat began operations in the helicopter charter business with a small Heli-Logging job.

The company's offices were located in the home of one of the Principle's, and the helicopter was housed in a rented hangar facility at the Penticton airport.  Within the first year of operations Wildcat flew nearly 700 hours focusing on three industries:  Forest firefighting, Oil and Gas exploration and Heli-Logging.  By the summer of 2000 Wildcat was operating two Bell 212's and one Bell 206 Longranger.  December of 2000 Wildcat moved operations to a hangar facility located on Kelowna's Westside where the offices, the helicopters and the maintenance facility could be located at the same address.
